A) The motion of the ball only, was constant half way through and then it went faster and maintained a constant speed after that.
B) Graph A is correct to decribe the motion of the ball because it is increasing at a constant speed which means that the slope is constant and then in increases in speed so the slope must be higher and that is exactly what happens.
Graph B is incorrect because the slope decreases instead of increasing, and Graph C is wrong because the slope does not change as the speed increases.
C) Graph D is correct to describe the motion of velocity vs time because the the slope is zero which means that it is at a constant speed, and then since the speed increases it jumps up and then stays constant again because it stays at a constant speed. Graph E is wrong because it shows position vs time not velocity vs time, so it is not suppost to have an upward slope because that would mean it is getting faster and faster, and Graph F is wrong because when the speed changes it maintains constant and the graph shows that it gets faster and faster.
